1. Who we are

Tenetza (“we”, “us”) provides a property and rental management platform for landlords in India, including a rent agreement generator, tenant and property tracking, and rent payment tracking. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

2. What we collect

We collect different data depending on how you use Tenetza:

• Account data: your email address and password (stored securely via our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your password in plain text).
• Property & tenant data you enter: property names, addresses, rent amounts, occupancy status, and tenant details (name, email, phone number, rent amount) that you add to your dashboard.
• Generated agreements:the rent agreement text you generate, including landlord/tenant names and property addresses, saved to your account if you're signed in.
• Rent payment records:which months you've marked as paid or pending for each tenant.
• Contact form submissions:if you submit the “Interested” or “Contact Us” forms, we collect your name, email, and message.

3. How we use it

We use your data only to operate Tenetza:

• To create and secure your account, and let you log in.
• To store and display the properties, tenants, agreements, and rent records you create — visible only to you.
• To email you a copy of a generated agreement, if you request it.
• To respond to messages you send us via our contact forms, and to email you back.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party services to run Tenetza:

• Supabase— hosts our database and handles authentication. Your data is protected by row-level security, meaning our own database rules prevent any user from reading another user's property, tenant, or agreement data.
• Google AdSense — shown only on the rent agreement generator page, to help cover hosting costs. AdSense may use cookies to show ads; see Google's ad policy for details.
• Email delivery — we use a standard email service to send agreement copies and respond to contact form messages.

We don't share your data with anyone else.

5. Your rights and choices

• Export your data: you can download your properties, tenants, and saved agreements as CSV files at any time from your dashboard.
• Delete your account:from your Account page, you can permanently delete your account and all associated data — properties, tenants, agreements, and rent records. This can't be undone.
• Update your info: you can change your email or password from your Account page at any time.

6. Data security

We rely on industry-standard practices: encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and database-level access rules that restrict every user to their own data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Children's privacy

Tenetza is intended for adult landlords and property managers. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
